Ignyte leverages OpenAPI for its specification for writing API calls and documentation. User must generate an external API for the Asset Management module from the Settings | Asset Management within the External Api Configuration area.
Note: External API allows a GRC engineering team to access the GUI data model over a programmable interface and build a custom asset management plugin.
Click on the GENERATE API KEY button to obtain your key. This key would be copied to complete the connection between the API work your engineering team is doing and the platform.
