- See Release 8.11 news and videos article for a few short videos about this release.
- The Login screen has been redesigned and allows the user to login with their email address or username and password or with Azure/Single Sign On (SSO).
- If an incorrect email/username or password is entered a message occurs asking the user to try again. A "Forgot password" link is also available and requires an email to get the link to reset the password. The user will set a new password that meets the password requirements previously determined in Settings.
- The top menu navigation with a down arrow flows down when hovered over initially, and all subsequent menus go to the right.
- Breadcrumbs for the left menu show at the top of the screen on the left side.
- In Requirements list view, selecting a Control ID takes you to the Control tab instead of the Summary tab for that Control.
- The Requirements page in grid view has been improved in the following ways:
- The Control Id and Control Name are fixed or frozen, so the user can easily follow the information for each requirement, while the other columns can scroll side to side.
- A quick assessment of a control can be done by hovering over the requirements Control Name and selecting the icon to the right.
- Most columns have filtering and sorting capabilities using the drop down arrow next to column name in the heading.
- The Control Description, Guidance, Comments/Response columns are searchable.
- A status can be selected from the Status column of Requirements. If there is no status visible in the column, then a status can be selected after clicking "+Access Status."
- The search filter for the Status, Control Owner, Control Operator, and Control Tag columns now has a Blanks option, which allows the user to search for controls with records that are unassessed or blank.
- The Comment column allows the user to add a response, save as a draft, submit a response, clear a response, or see past responses.
- New and Existing Artifacts can be uploaded by hovering over the Artifact column of the control and clicking "Attach."
- Tags can be added for a Control Id in the Control Tag column.
- New Guidance can be added or Past Guidance can be viewed in the Guidance column by selecting +Add Guidance for controls without a guidance or selecting the blue pencil icon on the bottom right corner of the box.
- Sub frameworks can be viewed by first selecting them in the show/hide columns menu.
- Suggestive and Authoritative mapped controls can be viewed if selected from the show/hide columns menu. This would also show the Suggestive and Authoritative mapped control count.
- SOR data for mapped controls can be viewed when the SOR field is enabled.
- In Framework Editor, the Active Control (controls that are accessible) and Disabled Control (controls that are inactive) counts are displayed at the top of the page.
