Document Permissions are configured first by clicking the user drop-down located in the top right corner of the platform and clicking "Settings." Next, within the "Document Permission" section, select "Global Document Permission." This will display the Document Permission window shown below; however, it may look different depending on your subscription.



The toggle switches can be used to enable or disable various folders in the Document Management section of the platform including: the System Folder, Global Folder, SOR Folder, and External File Folder. These folders are detailed below:


System Folder-used to store files and folders for a particular compliance system.


Global Folder-used to store files and folders inheritable by other modules, systems of records and global company records.


SOR Folder-used to store files and folders for a particular system of record.


External File Folder-used for gathering external information from external parties through artifact request links. If enabled other fields need to be filled out. The form is similar to setting up Artifact Request, see that article for more information.


Vendor Management Folder - used to store files and folders for the vendor management module.
